An Evening with Carlo Deltetto
Wednesday April 30th at 6pm | 79pp
Join us at Amano Trattoria for a unique wine tasting experience with Carlo Deltetto, third-generation winemaker from Azienda Agricola Deltetto in Piemonte, Italy.
Your evening begins with a casual Prosecco reception before diving into a guided tasting of four of Deltetto’s most celebrated wines: Suasi Rosato, Roero Arneis, Nebbiolo d’Alba, and Barolo. Each wine is paired with assaggini—small, regionally inspired bites crafted by Chef Michael Angeloni to enhance the tasting experience.
This is a relaxed, structured event that blends education, flavour, and Italian hospitality. Not a full dinner, but a generous aperitivo-style evening built for wine lovers. Guests are welcome to book a table in the dining room after the event for à la carte service (optional).
Meet the Winemaker: Carlo Deltetto
Carlo Deltetto represents the third generation of winemakers at Azienda Agricola Deltetto, a family-run estate nestled in the rolling hills of Roero, Piemonte. With a deep respect for tradition and a sharp eye on the future, Carlo crafts wines that balance elegance with authenticity—expressing the soul of Piemonte in every bottle.
The Deltetto family has been rooted in the region since the 1950s, when Carlo’s grandfather began producing wine from the local vineyards around Canale. Today, under Carlo’s leadership, the estate has become one of the most respected names in the region, known for its expressive Arneis, vibrant Nebbiolo, and soulful Barolo—alongside their beloved sparkling and rosé wines.
Carlo’s winemaking philosophy is simple: let the land speak. With a focus on sustainability, organic practices, and minimal intervention, he crafts wines that are precise, textural, and full of life. Whether it’s the freshness of Suasi Rosato or the depth of his Barolo, each glass tells a story of place, passion, and generations of dedication.
This is a rare opportunity to taste through Carlo’s wines in his presence, hear the stories behind them, and experience Piemonte through the hands of one of its most engaging and thoughtful producers.
